The “Explore Sapporo&Collect Good Luck!” a walking tour campaign designed to gather good fortune by visiting Hokkaido Shrine and Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, kicks off on Saturday, September 19, 2026!

During the campaign period, you can collect a “開” stamp at Hokkaido Shrine and a “運” stamp at the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building on a special card. The first 1,000 people to collect both stamps will receive a limited-edition set featuring a combination of original merchandise from both venues!

We’ll also be distributing original wallpaper images exclusive to each venue, and a workshop for children is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3 (a national holiday) at the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building.

Additionally, throughout the event period, art made from natural materials by artist Hiromi Tanaka will appear unexpectedly at Hokkaido Shrine and the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building! You never know when or where the artworks will appear.

As you explore the venues, look for artworks that blend into the scenery and enjoy these serendipitous encounters!
